SUMMARY:Evening puja (meditation & chanting)
DESCRIPTION:\nA typical evening puja begins with approximately 20 minutes of chanting, followed by a period of silent meditation until 20:30. We then close the evening with a shorter period of chanting.\n\n\n\nMoon days\n\n\n\nOn moon days, meditation is followed by a senior monk giving the 8 precepts to our resident guests, and to the visitors who wish to take them. We carry on with a meditation vigil until midnight. There is no obligation to stay for the entire evening.\n\n\n\nA Dhamma talk is given after the 8 precepts if Luang Por Sumedho did not give a Dhamma talk that afternoon.\n\n\n\nAll are welcome to attend these public events, and there is no need to book beforehand.\n\n\n\n\n
