The community at Amaravati Buddhist Monastery is looking for a long­-term resident who would
appreciate living within a Theravadan monastic community to further their practice. We are looking for a practically minded person with skills to undertake the role as Groundskeeper Volunteer Resident.

This role includes taking responsibility for the general maintenance and appearance of the monastery’s extensive grounds, working together with the other volunteers and monastics looking after the site.

This is a volunteer, residential role available from May-June 2025. Following a trial period of three months, the successful applicant may be invited to stay for one year initially.
