On the 27th of April, after evening puja (7.30pm), Tamara will be formally requesting the 8 precepts so as to join the female monastic community.

Tamara hails from Brazil and has been supporting the Amaravati community on and off for over a year. She was part of the 2024 winter retreat support team, and we wish her the best in her monastic journey.
