Evening puja (meditation & chanting)
Evening pujas begin with approximately 20 minutes of chanting, followed by a period of silent meditation until 20:30. We then close the evening with a shorter period of chanting.
On moon days, meditation is followed by a senior monk giving the 8 precepts to our resident guests and to the visitors who wish to take them.
Pujas are public – all are welcome to attend. Also, please note that there is usually no puja on the evenings before and after a moon day. During the vassa, Luang Por Sumedho gives a Dhamma talk at 3pm on each moon day.
