Evening puja (meditation & chanting)
A typical evening puja begins with approximately 20 minutes of chanting, followed by a period of silent meditation until 20:30. We then close the evening with a shorter period of chanting.
Moon days
On moon days, meditation is followed by a senior monk giving the 8 precepts to our resident guests, and to the visitors who wish to take them. We carry on with a meditation vigil until midnight (NB: there is no obligation to stay for the entire vigil.)
All are welcome to attend these public events.
