Visākha Pūjā traditionally marks the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and passing into Parinibbāna. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, we will, in addition to our regular evening puja routine, perform an outdoor circumambulation. Please note that the hourly schedule given below is approximate. All are very welcome to attend.

NB: This is not our Vesak festival, which will take place a few days earlier, on Sunday 19. On that day, we will also celebrate Luang Por Sumedho 90th birthday which will be attended by a large number of visiting monks from all around the world. Read more about this large event here.
